Aims and scope

The Bulletin of the Spanish Carbon Group (GEC, acronym of Grupo Español del Carbón) publishes works on science and technology of carbon materials and coal. In particular, all those aspects related to energy and environmental applications.

Awards

ANNUAL PRIZES * will be awarded among the works of the following categories published in the bulletin throughout an annuity:

   -   Best scientific article (250 euros and an award diploma). Essential requirement: the corresponding author should be a member of the GEC.
   -   Best article for dissemination and/or teaching research (250 euros and an award diploma). Essential requirement: the corresponding author should be a member of the GEC.
   -   Best contribution of a scientific article in the field of "New Groups" (Award Diploma and payment of the GEC membership fee to two students for two years).

*The ANNUAL AWARDS will start in June 2021, covering the works published in 4 consecutive numbers. To be eligible for the awards, the authors must indicate this when submitting the works.
 
The authors can assign/transfer the copyright to the GEC's Bulletin once the contributions are uploaded to the platform, or they can grant the GEC's Bulletin a Creative commons version 4.0 license. If this licensing option is selected, the following logo must be incorporated into the contribution:
